Deuter Aircontact Core 70+10 is a high-capacity trekking backpack designed for multi-day hikes, expeditions, self-supported routes and extended travel. Its 70-liter main capacity can be expanded by an additional 10 liters, providing plenty of space for a sleeping bag, clothing, trekking equipment, food and personal belongings. The graphite-shale color offers a practical and understated look suitable for intensive outdoor use.

The Deuter Aircontact back system combines breathable Air Spacer Mesh with a wide ventilation channel to improve carrying comfort during long days on the trail. Ergonomic ActiveFit shoulder straps, an adjustable sternum strap, flexible VariFlex hip fins and an anatomically shaped lumbar pad help distribute the load efficiently.

A rigid Y-Frame stabilizes the backpack and transfers a significant portion of the load to the hip belt, which is particularly important when carrying heavy equipment. J-shaped front access provides quick access to the main compartment without having to unpack the entire backpack.

History Deuter


The company was founded in Germany by Hans Deuter in 1898 and still bears the name of its founder. At the turn of the century, the first large order for the production of mail bags was fulfilled for the Bavarian postal service.

Since 1910, Deuter has become the official supplier of the German armed forces and produces backpacks, food bags, holsters, tents for the army.

In 1919, Deuter becomes a public company and one of the leaders in the German market in the production of backpacks, leather goods and tents. The company also begins to produce removable roofs for cars.

The highly successful German expedition to the Himalayas in 1934 was completely equipped with Deuter backpacks.

The Second World War did not interrupt the company's activities. By supplying the German army with its products, Deuter expands its product range and introduces innovative solutions into production.

In the following years, Deuter backpacks have visited many peaks of the world. Almost all expeditions of German climbers used equipment with this brand. In 1971, the company became the largest German manufacturer of backpacks and luggage bags. Starting in 1973, Deuter was one of the first to use synthetic materials, such as nylon with a waterproof coating, in the production of backpacks.

In 1987, Deuter developed a revolutionary design for the Aircomfort backpack suspension, using the advice and experience of Peter Habeler, a famous German mountaineer. Since 1990, when mountain biking became popular, Deuter has been producing a line of backpacks designed exclusively for cycling. Today, Deuter is one of the world's largest manufacturers of backpacks, distinguished by innovative technologies. The company has offices and dealers in more than 70 countries on 5 continents. Deuter also produces high-quality sleeping bags and a wide range of accessories.
